Hello and welcome to our first Madame Tra La La blog post. There’s lots to tell you about as we enter into a new imporived chapter of our development with a ready to wear collection to offer all our ladies who love beautfully made vintage inspired clothing!
To be launched at the fabulous London Macadam Bastille Day event in Battersea Park on 11 July our new ready to wear collection is Inspired by iconic French women our Bow Belles vintage collection celebrates their style, sass and sophistication. The model herslef is the bootilicious Lady Flo and international Burlesque performer from Paris who’s mission in life is to celebrate and pontificate the glamour of yesteryear whilst helping ladies of today unleash their inner starlet with her workshops and ateliers Europe wide!
With a nostalgic nod to thriftier times, each garment comes with its own pretty bag of bows allowing you to customise the design. Two of our ‘jolies robes’ can even be worn both ways round to take you from day to night in a flash!
Though the shapes may be inspired by the past the fabric is rather more whizzy – a luxuriously soft cotton jersey with lycra which is easy to launder and needs a mere glance of the iron to be ready to wear. With a plentiful choice of size and colour combinations.
Madame Tra La La has recognised a gap in the market between ladies who love vintage and ladies who just can’t wear it….Our luscious lady shapes have expanded a little over the years and those weeny wasp waists are now a thing of the past..Our new Bow Belle Collection will offer a vintage inspired option with a unique French twist. Lovingly made dresses and playsuits that can be thrown in the wash without a worry for shrinkage or colour run! Choose your colour choice, mark your size and voila your inner chic will be unleashed at the drop of a chapeau!
